Final Numbers
The Reunion Committee had its “wrap up meeting” on November 1st and we were able to determine that we had 171 adults at the football game on Friday, October 20th, and when you consider the kids and those that only made it to Hackney’s, we had a great turnout! There were 220 adults in attendance at CD & Me on Saturday, the 21st, and that's a great number, too, considering we still have half of our class missing from the web site! Keep getting folks to sign up there so we can do even bigger events in the future!
To go along with our great attendance numbers, we’re happy to report that the advertising in the reunion booklet raised $2,500 that will be awarded to a Sandburg senior on awards night this spring in the form of a scholarship. It’s nice that we can give something back to the school so thank you all again for attending and making this possible.
If you were unable to attend the Saturday night event at CD & Me, we have extra copies of the reunion program on sale for '86 classmates at $10 each. To buy the book online, just log on to this site using your registered profile information. Once you've done that, you'll see a Purchase Programs link on the left side of the screen.
